RNVDO has organized a series of lectures targeting parents and caregivers in different areas of Mosul about positive upbringing to enhance the children’s self-confidence and well-integrated within the society in order to spare children, the negative effects that might bestow upon them at a later advanced age of their childhood.

One of the participants, Rua, a mother to her first-born child, stated that was unaware of some of the behaviors she practiced while raising her child. She thought such behavior was normal, but after participating in these lectures, she was alerted about the harm she might cause if she would not change her means of upbringing her child.

These lectures are part of the Child Care and Protection project implemented by RNVDO in Ninawa Governorate.
