Al Nimrud is primarily an agriculturally rich district. Of the 3000 families who have returned, 2200 depend on agriculture as the primary source of income. All the returnee families reported that the most important recovery need, was access to employment.
Alongside the collaboration with MTI, we selected the area of intervention, prioritizing soil type and access to irrigation systems as the criteria for selection.

500 beneficiaries got training courses about Cautious Fire and how to deal with it and Agricultural planning and how to divide agricultural products to reduce competition in the market.
Around 1000 beneficiaries from crops, products and cash for work.
