RNVDO participated a two-day workshop in Baghdad



RNVDO in collaboration with LWR has participated in a two-day BAA workshop in Baghdad this weekend concluded by The United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
It was attended by two senior advisers on behalf of Vice President Mike Pence, as well as the US ambassador to Iraq further signaling the Administration’s strong commitment to finding innovative solutions for displaced populations in Iraq and across the world.
The workshop held in Baghdad with 33 organizations seeking to create and design activities together that will assist in the voluntary return of displaced Iraqis to the Ninewa Plain and western Ninewa, and to encourage those who are already in their communities to remain.
The aim of the workshop was, to identify ways to help displaced people return to and stay in their homes in the Ninewa Plains and western Ninewa.
RNVDO represented by Mr. Basil Yousif has also attended a reception at the resident of US ambassador to Iraq Mr. Douglas A. Silliman in honor of assisting the minority communities in Nineveh governorate.
